In en effort to aid small web publishers, we have added the “free submissions” field to the search engine listings. Where available there will be a “submission url” entry. Many search engines are now offering affiliate programs to web publishers. Such programs are commonly found with pay per click search engines, but such programs are not exclusively limited to ppc partnerships. As a general rule, these affiliate programs are designed to allow web publishers to earn additional revenue from their traffic.

While this is not always as sophisticated as a true api, we have included any engine granting web developers free use of their data. These services allow publishers to display search results within their own web site. Those offering free access to their Api will have a link next to the “free api” field that will take publishers directly to this resource.
