Google announced new Data Manager diagnostics and a Data Strength Uplift metric to estimate the contribution of first-party data to conversions. Its published averages come from Google’s own datasets. Source officielle.
A practical check
A small team can start by checking the tag, consent, duplicate events, and consistency between conversions and orders. Record each fix before changing bidding.
If one order fires two conversion events, ad reporting becomes hard to interpret. Fixing the duplicate and comparing totals with the order log is more useful than adding another metric to the dashboard.
What the evidence supports
A vendor score or average cannot replace checking actual sales and acquisition cost in the account. Test one change at a time. Date the check and retain the source documentation so that later changes can be verified.
